3D Paasproject voor The Joy of Sets bloghop

Je bent nu hier bij Ilse van Vliet uit Nederland; welkom! Deze keer is het thema 3D Pasen. Daar moest ik even over nadenken want 3D projecten maak ik niet veel, maar het is gelukt.
Omdat je rond deze tijd de eerste paastakken, eventueel met versiering, ziet, dacht ik dat het leuk was om daar iets voor te maken. 

You're now at Ilse van Vliet in the Netherlands; welcome. This time the theme is 3D Easter. That took some thinking because I don't often do 3D project, but I thougt of something.
Around this time you can buy branches at the florist, which we call Easter branches. You can decorate them and so I thought that I can combine this with our theme.

Eieren horen bij Pasen dus ik heb een paar 3D papieren eieren gemaakt. Ik heb hiervoor de Layering Oval Framelits gebruikt met het het Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper.
Je stanst 6 ovalen uit en vouwt deze in de lengte dubbel. Dan plak je ze op elkaar. Nog niet helemaal 'rond' plakken, want er moet nog een ophanglint aan.
Hiervoor heb ik Whisper White Sheer Ribbon gebruikt. Vouw het lint dubbel en maak een knoop in de uiteinden. Dan doe je het dubbele lint aan de binnenkant van het 'ei' en plak je hem dicht. Ook nu weer goed laten drogen.

When you think of Easter eggs pop in your mind very easily, so I made some paper 3D eggs. I've used the Layering Oval Framelits and the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper. Cut out 6 ovals and fold them lengthwise a.k.a. hotdog style. Glue them together but not totally 'round', because we have to add a ribbon to hang it on. Make sure the glue is dry.
I've used the Whisper White Sheer Ribbon. Fold the ribbon and tie a knot at the ends. Put the double ribbon in between the sides of the 'egg' and glue it; let it dry again.

Dan kunnen de eieren in de takken. Om het compleet te maken heb ik nog wat vlinders toegevoegd. Deze zijn geponst uit het Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper wat je gratis kan krijgen tijdens de Sale-A-Bration.

Now the eggs can be hung in the branches. To complete the spring picture, I've added some butterflies. I've punched them from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, which you can get for free dureing the Sale-A-Bration.

Je bent nu hier bij Ilse van Vliet uit Nederland en het is mijn eerste keer bij deze groep. Het thema van deze hop is een ezel-kaart maken met iets wat je gratis hebt gekregen. Dit kan zijn in een hobbywinkel, bij een tijdschrift, op een beurs óf tijdens Sale-A-Bration van Stampin'Up!

Ik heb natuurlijk iets van de Sale-A-Bration genomen en wel de stempelset Hello Cupcake, want wat is er lekkerder dan een cupcake met een goede toef erop? (sorry, goede voornemens, vandaag even niet!)

You're now at Ilse van Vliet in the Netherlands and it's my first time in this group. The theme of todays bloghop is an easel card with something you got for free. This can be something at the craftstore, at a magazine, at a fair ór during Sale-A-Bration from Stampin'Up!
I of course choose something from the Sale-A-Bration and picked the stampset Hello Cupcake. Because what is more delicious than a cupcake with a lovely topping? (sorry New Year resolutions, not today!)

Ik heb op Pinterest een kaart van Stacey Marsh gevonden die ik aangepast heb. Zoals je ziet een simpele ezel-kaart want dit is de eerste keer dat ik zo'n kaart maak. En ik ben er best tevreden over! Voor wat extra glim en glans heb ik zilver embossingpoeder gebruikt en de Clear Wink of Stella.

On Pinterest I found a card from Stacey Marsh which I adapted to the theme. It's not a complicated easel card because I never made one before. And I'm pretty pleased about the result! I used silver embossing powder and clear Wink of Stella for some extra shine and sparkle.
